Prima Donna: A Symphonic Visual Concert is a two part program that features a concert adaptation of Wainwrights 2009 opera Prima Donna set against a film directed by artist Francesco Vezzoli and featuring artist Cindy Sherman. This is followed by a performance by Wainwright singing songs from his repertoire accompanied by the fifty piece orchestra. Debuting in 2015 at the Acropolis in Athens Greece this concert will continually make stops around the world.
